Lifestyle Cycles Product Review: Lifestyle Cycles Seats

Today, I am out here with the seat guy, Victor. Victor, tell us, what are you doing for Lifestyle Cycles?

Well, Lifestyle ordered a big order of Harley Jason seats, and we're going to make some custom and cool stuff for them.

That's awesome! Tell me, what's different about these seats? Why are your seats special? I know you've been in the business for a decade.

Well, these seats I create myself, and this is a low-profile seat that gives the rider a really nice leg pass. It's really low, has a nice back support, and the look of it and the feel of it are really nice. I'm a rider too; I know how to ride and I've been riding for a little bit. I know the feeling. I've been doing seats for more than 20 years, and I create these seats for myself. I know the feeling of the foam, so I know the comfort and the look. I decided to make a nice comfort seat for a lot of people—whether they’re short, tall, or big—so comfort is key for every rider and passenger. I create these seats thinking of everybody's comfort, pretty much.

That's awesome! I love that. Victor, what are these seats made out of? What's the material?

Well, these seats—the foam is injected foam, and I create those densities. I know about density. A lot of foam is really hard; this one is really soft. Like I said, I created this seat for myself, and a lot of customers keep asking about comfort. They add gel to the seats, but the gel doesn’t provide real comfort. What it does is absorb the vibrations from your engine. The way the seat is shaped is what provides comfort; it’s not just what you put inside. If you shape it really well and have a nice density foam, it’s going to give you really good comfort. I'm really happy with this seat.

Hey Victor, so I know we're kind of standing in your shop right now, but where are your seats made? Are they made in the USA?

Yes, they're all made in the USA—American products, American materials. Everything is made in the USA.
