German Engineering Meets Harley Davidson Risers: Kodlin Fastback Risers
Today, we have Holger from Kodlin USA here to talk about their top-tier risers. Let's dive right into it! After hearing the backstory and seeing the incredible features, it's time to share all the details with you. These are called the Fastback Risers, and we believe they are truly a masterpiece by Len Kodlin, who designs all of Kodlin’s products. Based on customer feedback, these are some of the best-looking risers on the market right now. The machining details stand out like nothing else—we haven't seen this level of craftsmanship anywhere else! There are three different versions, all available in 6-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch heights. The first version was originally designed for the Lowrider ST, incorporating the digital gauge, which is also compatible with the Street Bobs. After receiving requests for different fitments, Kodlin introduced the Universal Clamp. The Universal Clamp works with Dynas and any bike with a 3.5-inch mounting pattern. It features a carbon plate with a hidden bolt system. Removing the plate reveals three threaded holes, allowing you to mount a 22mm riser and beyond. Every riser is made from CNC-machined aluminum, black anodized, and designed to maintain its deep black color—no fading or turning purple over time! They are also built to accommodate 1-inch and 1¼-inch bars. The 10-inch riser combined with the universal clamp is a perfect fit for the 2024 Lowrider ST. It not only looks incredible but also allows riders 5’8” and taller to see the full screen clearly while riding. A standout feature of these risers is cable management. Each riser includes five Christmas tree zip ties that neatly secure cables inside the riser, eliminating the messy look of exposed wiring. If you've ever seen high-end risers with tangled cables, you know how important this feature is—it makes all the difference! Kodlin also offers a lower riser for the 2018+ Breakout, eliminating the awkward pullback and refining the look. Additionally, there's the Big Block Riser, a massive CNC-machined piece available in black anodized or chrome finishes. It includes stainless steel hardware and fits 1¼-inch handlebars, designed to seamlessly integrate with Kodlin’s 1½-inch Flow Bars. The Flow Bars come in 12.5-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch heights. They start with a 1½-inch diameter and taper down to 1¼ inches, creating a bold, seamless look with the risers. With six bolts instead of four, the Big Block Riser ensures a secure grip, preventing bar movement and wear on the knurling—essential for taller bars! Another great addition is the P Clamps, specifically designed for M8 Softails but also compatible with Touring models. These come in chrome or black and include stainless steel Allen screws, adding a clean finishing touch to your handlebars. More risers are on the way, and we’ll be covering them soon!
