Three ways to start

Almost everyone who lands here is doing one of three jobs: making the stock system sound right, swapping out an old radio, or building a bagger that is loud and clear at freeway speed.

Find your parts

Every audio part we carry, live. Filter by brand, part type, model and year, then sort the way you like — parts made for your bike show first, followed by universal-fit gear.

Getting the system right

Louder speakers on their own are half a job. Here is how the pieces fit together, how our stage system works, and the fitment details worth checking before you order.

Why a bike needs more than a car

At 70 mph you are fighting wind, exhaust and road noise with open-air speakers a few feet from your helmet. That is why motorcycle audio leans on efficient horn-loaded speakers and real amplifier power — not bigger bass.

Most of the difference riders hear comes from three things working together: speakers built for the bike, clean power to drive them, and a tune that matches the two.

Our Stage 1–5 speaker system

Every Lifestyle Cycles kit is graded by stage, the same way our Cicada Kit Builder does it. Pick the stage that matches how and where you ride.

Stage Name Best for
Stage 1 Clean Upgrade Casual cruising and everyday listening
Stage 2 Highway Ready Regular listening at highway speeds
Stage 3 Loud & Clear Louder bikes and riders who turn it up
Stage 4 Premium Component Sound The fullest, most refined sound
Stage 5 Maximum Projection Loud exhausts and group rides

Power and wiring

An amplifier is only as good as the wire feeding it. Use a power and ground kit sized for the amp — bigger amps need heavier gauge — and a plug-and-play harness where one is made for your bike so you are not splicing factory wiring.

Match speaker impedance (2Ω or 4Ω) to what the amp is rated for. Most listings call out the ohm rating — ask us if you are mixing brands.

Two things to check first

Model year. Harley changed fairings, radios and speaker sizes for 2014 and again for the 2024 models, so a '98–'13 part will not drop into a '14–'23 bike. Use the year filter above and read the fitment line on each part.

Model. Road Glide (frame-mount fairing) and Street Glide / Electra Glide (batwing) use different radios, grills and amp mounts. Road King and CVO models have their own quirks.

Send us the year, model and what is already on the bike and we will confirm parts before you order.

Common questions

Do I need an amplifier?

For a real upgrade, almost always. The factory radio does not make enough clean power to drive aftermarket speakers at highway volume. New speakers on stock power will sound clearer, but an amp is what makes them loud without distorting.

Will my handlebar controls still work with a new radio?

On most supported bikes, yes. Some radios need a hand-control adapter or a specific harness, and those are listed alongside the radio. Tell us the year and model and we will confirm what you need.

What does a DSP do?

A digital sound processor sets crossovers, time alignment and EQ for every speaker, so a system with fairing, lid and lower speakers sounds like one system instead of four. Several amplifiers have a DSP built in.

2 ohm or 4 ohm speakers?

Go with what your amplifier is designed for. Many motorcycle amps are built to run 2Ω loads for extra output, but mixing impedances without checking can overheat the amp or leave power on the table. The listings show the rating.

Can I install it myself?

Speaker swaps and plug-and-play kits are very doable with basic tools. Amps, lids and full builds take more time and wiring. Either way, we help with install questions before and after the sale.

Do you tune systems?

Yes. Our audio team designs systems and builds DSP tunes for Harley baggers. Email us with your bike and what you want it to sound like.

Loud enough for the freeway.

From a simple speaker swap to a full radio, amp and DSP build for Harley-Davidson touring bikes. If you are not sure what fits your year and model, ask before you order — it is a quicker conversation than a return.
