All right, stay tuned for some information on these great risers from Kodlin.

Today, I've got Hogre here from Kodlin USA to talk about their great risers. Let's dive right into it! You've given me some backstory and some of the cool features I've seen—let's let our viewers know what's going on and what we can share with them.

Yeah, these are called the Fast Breake risers, and I personally think these are Len Kot's masterpiece. He designs all of our products, and I told him he really hit it there. Based on the feedback we get from some of our customers, they think they're probably the best-looking ones on the market right now.

Oh, they're absolutely gorgeous! The machining details—if you look close at them right here—are just something that stands out. I haven't personally seen it anywhere else.

Right, we do have three different versions. They all come in 6, 8, and 10 inches in height. This is the first one we made, and it was originally designed for the Lowrider ST using that digital gauge, which is also available on the Street Bobs. We hit those, and people loved them. Then, we had a lot of requests for different fittings, so we came out with the Universal Clamp.

The Universal Clamp is basically something you can use with this, right? For Dynas or anything with a 3.5-inch mounting pattern. There's a little carbon plate right here, as you can see, with a little bolt. If you take that off, there are three threaded holes, and you can mount this little pod for, like, a 22-inch and up.

They are all made out of CNC-machined aluminum. They're black anodized, and we’ve got the secret sauce to make sure they don’t turn purple—they stay nice and black. That’s important because so many black anodized parts over the years, whether it be exhaust or whatever, tend to turn purple. We've all seen it, and we’ve all had it on our motorcycles, so we figured that part out.

They are made to accept a 1-inch handlebar. This particular 10-inch version, if you use the universal clamp we offer, will fit the 2024 Lowrider, which is pretty exciting. It looks great! If you sit on it and you're 5'8" or taller, you can still see the full screen—everything is right there in front of you. Pretty amazing!

That's great! Now, one thing while we were sitting here talking earlier—I noticed some threaded inserts on the insides of this. What can you tell me about that?

Yeah, I mean, the easiest way to describe it is cable management. Every riser we sell comes with five—just so you have one extra—Christmas tree zip ties that you can plug in here to clean up all your cables so everything looks nice and neat.

That’s so important because so many of the risers out there that I see are just a bundled mess of wires, completely exposed. It looks absolutely terrible! You spend a bunch of money on some nice risers and bars, then you're usually upgrading your levers as well, and it just looks like a mess of wiring and cables. Great idea! I’m glad that you guys brought that to the industry.

Yeah, that’s the Kodlin way! We like things clean. We like great quality, great design—but, you know, things are a little different.

Well, I can definitely see that just in the product line we've been looking at so far. The attention to detail is almost second to none on this stuff.

Thank you! Over here, I also see we have another clamp.

Yeah, we have a bunch of different risers. For example, we have a lower riser for a 2018 and up Breakout. As you know, when they come stock, they have that awkward pullback. The little risers that we designed clean it up perfectly.

What I brought with me today is a brand new part we call the Big Block Riser. It's a big piece of CNC-machined aluminum. We’ve got these guys in black anodized or chrome finish. They come with nice stainless steel hardware, and they accept a 1 1/4-inch handlebar. They work for a lot of different applications.

What we designed them for—and what makes them look super awesome—is our 1 1/2-inch flow bars. These come in 12 1/2, 15, and 17-inch heights. The 1 1/2-inch tube tapers down to 1 1/4 inches, but the way these risers are designed, it looks like that 1 1/2-inch tube goes all the way through the riser. It’s a very massive piece and looks gorgeous. We’re really happy with the way it came out, especially in combination with other bars.

And the detail on the top clamp is just insane! I mean, you really took the time to machine it. I also like how you're using six bolts instead of just four. If you're going up to those taller bars you mentioned, it really helps hold that bar in place, preventing it from moving and wearing out the knurling inside. I think that’s really important.

Yep! Thank you—that's exactly what we had in mind.

The last piece in the handlebar category that we brought today is these little guys—the P Clamps. They’re specifically designed for M8 Softails, though they will fit touring models too. Len was very specific about making sure they look perfect on an M8 Softail. They come in chrome and black, in pairs, and with very nice stainless steel Allen screws. It’s a great way to clean up your handlebar.

I love the idea because a lot of guys run different-colored bars on their bikes, and this is just one of those little details that lets you see down into that color-matched bar. It adds a touch of detail you don’t typically see anywhere else. Great idea!

Exactly! Thank you. More risers are coming, and I’m sure we’re going to talk about that later.

Excellent! Can't wait to hear about it.

All right, got it! Thanks again for coming in. I enjoyed talking with you—this stuff is amazing! We’re going to be getting some of this in, and we’ll be doing some installs here in the shop. I know it’s going to start blowing up on the website! In just about three more days, it’ll be up there, and you can start ordering it for your bike.

Wait! Don’t go anywhere until you like and subscribe to make sure you get notified every time we post our how-to videos, product reviews, and amazing interviews with your favorite racers and industry icons.

I'll see you guys next time!
