Bike Overview: 2021 Harley Davidson Road Glide
Hey guys, it's Atusa with Lifestyle Cycles, and I'm here with Kevin today.
Kevin, what's going on here?
Well, stay tuned because we're going to show you everything that we just put on this bike for some of our best partners that we deal with—on a bike that we just sold to this gentleman last week.
Saddlemen Seat
Initially, walking up to this bike, it looks sick—there's so much going on! The first thing that stands out to me is the Saddlemen seat and the Sound Stream head unit. What is going on here, dude? What's going on with this bike?
Well, the guy bought it from us here at Lifestyle Cycles last week, and it was a completely bone-stock '21 Road Glide. He just couldn't take it home that way, so we got with him, started shopping around in the online mega store, and came up with a bunch of great parts. He's going to be proud to ride this when he takes it home.
All right, so tell me a little bit more about the Saddlemen seat. It looks pretty cool, and it looks like it's got something going on in the back.
Yeah, so this is the Saddlemen Road Sofa—an industry-standard, great seat. It's got the gel core in the front and rear for both the passenger and the rider. This is the standard reach, and he opted for the backrest on it as well, which is really cool. You've also got a little storage compartment back here to hide some extra stuff—for your lady or even your own things.
Windshield
Let's scoot up a little bit—this dark smoke windshield looks super sick, as does the Sound Stream. Tell me a little bit more about up here.
All right, so we obviously opted for a Klockwerks windshield—an industry standard that’s been around for almost two decades. That's going to give you a nice flare to get the wind up over your head while still keeping a sporty look.
Well, that's one way to be the life of the party, but, you know, when you roll up, you also want to light the place up, right? Tell me about these Custom Dynamics—they look bright!
Headlights
Yeah, obviously, you’ve got to go with the Custom Dynamics—the Shark Demon system. It's fully DOT-compliant, and it's got both amber and clear lighting. We’ve got high and low beams, completely plug-and-play. Since we did the amplifier in here, these headlights also have a headlight spacer kit to allow for that fire to go in there without trimming any of the fins—like you had to do in the old days with off-road lights that weren’t DOT-approved.
Blinkers
So what about these tiny little blinkers? They're so cute!
Those are also from Custom Dynamics—that’s the Pro Beam line. I’ve got them on my own Road Glide, and they’re super bright. They stay clear when in running mode, and when you hit the turn signal, they flip over to amber.
That's so cute!
Wheels
Come over here now—what's going on with these wheels? These things are huge!
Well, he upgraded from the 19-inch front wheel to a 21-inch. Since we did that, we had to install a fender spacer kit to allow clearance for the wheel. He actually opted for a matching rear wheel, which most people don’t do, but you can see it even though some say you can’t.
For some good stopping power, we upgraded to the big 15-inch rotors and had to put an adapter on here for the calipers to ensure everything fit properly. We also did a full chrome front end.
From there, we installed the Arlen Ness floorboards, foot controls, and a full audio system. This guy really wanted it all!
Mega Store
This bike is literally a riding-on-two-wheels online mega store—it's got everything!
Absolutely—everything we did to it is available on the mega store.
That’s awesome! And obviously, if they’re local, we can install it for them as well, right?
Absolutely—just like we did on this bike! The cool part is, with all the money he spent, he actually accrued 5% Megabucks on everything that went onto this bike.
We could build a whole other bike with that—just about!
