Lifestyle Cycles Product Review: Biltwell Grips and Gloves
All right, stay tuned for some great information about the Biltwell line of grips and gloves.
All right, Davin, thanks for coming out today! Hey, we’ve got some of your products here—we've got the gloves, the grips—anxious for you to tell me a little bit about them.
So grip-wise, we have five different grip designs, and then all five of those grips come in five different colors. We’ve got gray, chocolate, black, oxblood, and white in all different kinds. So we've got these ones—what are these, the Recoil? These ones do not have a flange on the end. Then we have the Renegade, which is the same style but does have a flange. We’ve got a few other options too.
Man, for 20 bucks, swapping out your grips is one of the easiest things you can do on a bike. It’s easy money, especially with the cool color options you've got.
So, we've got the grips—now let’s go right into the gloves. What can you tell me about the gloves?
Gloves—man, we've got, I think, nine different styles of gloves now. These are the Moto gloves, and we have nine different colors of them. These things retail for $29.95. Usually, we do a blackout colorway in every glove—there’s nothing darker than black. We’ve got chocolate, and a bunch of other cool colors in these gloves.
These ones are super light, comfortable, easy to deal with. We call it the Moto glove because it’s like a motocross glove you can use on your street bike. We've got everything from these lightweight gloves to a couple more that are similar but have some knuckle protection—all the way up to our Bridgeport, which has a plastic knuckle. They look like a very sportbike-inspired glove but still have that classic look.
Then we’ve got a couple of winter gloves, summer gloves—whatever you need. We kind of run the gamut on gloves too. That was another thing—we just started out with the Moto glove and tried to kill it once. People lost their minds, so we brought it back with a bunch of new colors.
We’ve got gloves from 30 bucks up to $100, so a little something for everyone.
Well, I know they’re popular because they fly off the shelves downstairs in the showroom, plus online sales on these things are crazy. We sell them all the time.
Yeah, I mean, I'm constantly ordering gloves. It's hard to keep them in stock—they just move. They’re comfortable, they’re easy—you wear gloves, they wear out, you buy a new pair, and you just keep on going.
I really like the Moto gloves—they’re comfortable, light, and easy to deal with. Nice gloves, great stuff.
Thanks for coming out, man. Looking forward to seeing you again.
