These kits are built as complete, model-specific CVO audio systems with the integration parts needed for the selected year and model. Depending on your bike, that can include speakers, amplifier, power wiring, factory-radio integration, amplifier bypass plugs, mounting hardware, grilles, spacers, and other CVO-specific adapters. The goal is to remove the guesswork of piecing a system together yourself. Because factory CVO audio systems vary by year, always build the kit using your exact CVO model and year before ordering.

The builder automatically selects the integration hardware required for the CVO configuration you choose. Depending on the year and model, the kit may include factory-radio integration, CVO amplifier bypass components, T-harnesses, mounting systems, or other adapters needed to integrate the Cicada system correctly. You do not need to figure out which bypass or integration pieces to purchase separately. If you've already modified the factory radio, amplifier, or wiring on your bike, contact us before ordering so we can confirm the setup.

Stages represent the performance level of the system, but the stages available depend on your exact CVO year and model. Some earlier CVO fitments currently have one proven Stage 2 configuration, while newer CVO Street Glide and Road Glide applications offer multiple levels from Stage 1 through Stage 5. As you move up, speaker capability, amplifier power, output, projection, and overall system performance increase. The builder automatically hides stages that aren't available for the CVO configuration you've selected, so anything you can choose is matched to that bike.

The speaker setup represents the factory-style speaker configuration used by that particular CVO application. Most of the supported CVO kits use a 4-speaker configuration, while some bikes have a different factory layout — for example, the 2018–2019 CVO Street Glide uses a 6-speaker configuration in the builder. You don't need to decide whether a 4- or 6-speaker system physically fits your bike; once you choose your CVO model and year, the builder only shows the speaker setup we have configured for that application.

CVO fitment doesn't always follow the same year ranges as standard Touring models, and some CVO applications are specific to certain individual years or year groups. If your exact CVO isn't shown after selecting your model, don't choose the closest-looking year just because the fairing looks similar. Our team can verify the factory audio configuration and tell you exactly what will work.

This builder is specifically for supported Harley-Davidson CVO applications, including CVO Street Glide, CVO Road Glide, CVO Ultra, and CVO Road Glide Ultra configurations. Available years are different for each model, so choose your bike first and the builder will show the year groups currently supported. If you're riding a non-CVO Street Glide, Road Glide, Ultra/Limited, Tri Glide, or RG3, use our standard Cicada Audio Kit Builder instead.

Kits that include an amp or DSP sound best when the system is set up correctly, and we've got you covered. DSP-equipped kits are uploaded with a tune for the bike and system configuration. ALL systems will still need the gains adjusted to match the actual volume output of your source and bike. That's one adjustment we can't accurately complete before the system is installed. CVO kits ship complete in 1-2 business days. If a component arrives damaged or something in your box isn't right, contact us and we'll make it right fast; you won't be stuck mid-install waiting on a claim. Standard return policy applies to unopened kits within 60 days. Because CVO configurations can be very year-specific, we strongly recommend confirming your exact year and model in the builder before ordering. Audio kits ship to all 50 states.
