Expect unpredictable moments as riders take daring, high-lean turns at full throttle, right in front of your eyes – it’s a race night you won’t forget!
56 Years Of Legendary Speedway Racing!
‘Mad Men’ on fuel burning Speedway motorcycles. Insane 2-man, 3-wheeled Sidecars, all with absolutely NO BRAKES! Non-stop action with a race every 3 minutes!
Throw in hairy, hardcore Harley Racers, Pro Moto Knobby Racers, and unpredictable Junior Speedway Racers… you get one hell of a show! All throwing their bikes full-throttle into the tight turns at impossible lean angles. The ‘Bullring’ Oval Arena puts every fan right on top of the action. The atmosphere at the floodlit races is second-to-none and it all takes place on the ‘hassle free’ O.C. Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA.
Gates Open at 6pm with a live band, happy hour from 6-7pm, first race blasts off at 7:30pm sharp. Costa Mesa Speedway, C’mon!
Costa Mesa Speedway Track
The race track at Costa Mesa Speedway is a 185 yards oval on the pole, it is 1/10 of a mile long. The track surface consists of a special clay base with decomposed granite. This special dirt combination can support the grinding rear tires and weight of the powerful Speedway Motorcycles; it’s a dirt that can assure speed and performance while providing safety for the rider. Also, the race track surface can form a “Blue groove” – the ideal line around the track where the dirt gets worn down into hard-packed DG from the Speedway Motorcycle tires. It can cause the rear to hook up faster and can be as hard as concrete. Is this good or bad? Depends on the rider!
Ticket purchases are non-refundable. They are however transferrable.
