Lifestyle Cycles How To: Soundstream V2 Motorcycle Audio System

"All right, Kevin, here at Lifestyle Cycles today, we're going to go over all the new features of the Soundstream V2 radio. We'll discuss the screen, Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, the ability to run wireless headsets like AirPods or earbuds, and the native iGo GPS system that's integrated here, just like in factory cars. We'll also cover the voltage output on the RCAs of this radio.

So, let's dive into it. First of all, you'll notice the home screen. It's quite different. You have your car or Android Auto in the center, or if it's FM/AM or satellite radio, the currently playing music will be displayed here. On the left, you've got your speedometer, and on the right, your check engine information systems.

Next, we'll explore the apps feature in the center. Once you're in the apps, you'll find CarPlay, Android Auto, native navigation, radio, gauges, motorcycle info, Bluetooth audio, Bluetooth phone, USB for thumb drives, device list, SiriusXM, and headsets.

Let's start with our gauges. There are two screens now, which I prefer; it looks better with more room on the larger screen. There are over 60 programmable features across these 10 gauges.

Back to the apps, we also have motorcycle info. It reads tire pressure sensors if they're on the bike. From mid-2017 models onwards, you can get tire pressure monitoring system valve stems for your bike. If you order them for a CVO model, they can be paired with your bike, allowing functionality similar to those that came with it originally. It provides your gear indicator, voltage, engine status, and allows you to check and clear system codes right from the radio.

Now, let's return to the main menu. Here's a really cool feature unique to this radio. I've already paired my Novice headset, but you can pair AirPods, earbuds, or any compatible headset. Let me show you how to do it. I'll put this into pairing mode, go to 'Headset List,' and hit the search icon. The AirPods show up, they're connecting—I heard them beep. So, you can wear these under your helmet and listen to music while riding. Your passenger can do the same. You can pair two headsets to this motorcycle, and the passenger can choose between navigation, music, or phone calls, while the rider can choose between navigation, music, or phone calls. Only one person can take a phone call, but both can choose what to listen to. It's a fantastic feature I haven't seen anywhere else.

Let's go back to the home screen and review some functions you're already familiar with. It's fully IPX waterproof, all hand controls work, and you can navigate menus from your right-hand control without touching the radio. If you have a 2014 to 2018 motorcycle with the 4.3-inch screen or infotainment center, this upgrade is essential. The boot-up time and sound quality of those radios are inferior. This radio offers significant benefits. Even for those with 2019 to 2023 GTS radios, there's a huge improvement with a bigger screen, wireless headsets, CarPlay, Android Auto, and built-in RCA outputs. It's simply a better radio in terms of sound quality and functionality—it has it all.

Visit our website; we have many on order arriving in the next few weeks. Reserve yours now because they'll sell out fast—we might sell out before they arrive. Ensure you're on the list to get yours immediately and impress your friends with the latest and greatest radio available.

Oh, wait! Don't go anywhere until you like and subscribe to ensure you're notified every time we post our how-to videos, product reviews, and interviews with your favorite racers and industry icons. See you next time!"
