Clay Braun Gives us a break down of Bag Nasty, his Performance Bagger

Let's just jump right into it. Start with the front. Then we got, uh, the very expensive Lifestyle sticker right there, um, supported by some Salamon carbon fiber in the front. RAC Tech, um, suspension in the front with Alart lower legs, um, JAT Affiliated, uh, billet wheels. SNS 131, um, that's just a drop-in kit from them—thank you guys. And then we got the V28, custom made by Jay himself. Um, another set of carbon fiber bags from Salamon, once again. Um, and another rear, uh, JAD wheel from him. We are working on getting some lighter wheels, but I'm not going to tell you about them—you’re just going to have to come out to Willow Springs and wait and see. Um, and then a carbon fiber rear fender. But other than that, she’s pretty stock, man.

And then for the foot controls, we got some Alart rear sets. Um, this is my first season running these, and I can't even tell you how they feel. It puts me in a way better attack position, puts my chest and my face in a more aggressive stance. We got the Roaring Toyz primary cover over here—that’s a beauty just to look at. That’s literally set up by GP shift, so this is literally one up, all down. What that does is it gives me an advantage on the track when I'm coming out of a turn. I can just downshift a gear and not have to waste almost all that time trying to throw my foot up. So, that’s cool.

We got, uh, some actual race Ros—these are not stock, I’ll tell you that. Those are not stock. Double piston brake calipers. Um, and then the wrap... the wrap says it all. She looks fast just sitting here. And also, too, we got this big Alar Boom Box, um, Salamon seat—my favorite. To stop this bag, nasty. We got some heavy-duty braking power from Galfer.

So, in the rear, we got a 16-inch Racetech, just completely set up for my weight. I don't weigh nothing but a, you know, a buck 60, buck 65 wet. So, it's not much, but we’re working with what we got. I know this doesn’t look like the most comfortable sitting position of it all, but how my feet are right now, I’m on the balls of my feet. So with these rear sets from L, I’m able to kind of position my body, my chest, and my head to be in a certain spot where I want to go, with my mouth biting my hand, just in a super aggressive point where I can do this on both sides and just transition as fast and as smoothly as I can.

But for the most part, I’ll never be sitting like this. It’s more of this and popping up to either downshift, apply heavy brakes, and then get right back into another turn. So it’s either like this, like this, or like this. I call this the parachute, because when you blow up like this, the wind kind of stops you, and you put a foot out, or do whatever, and kind of just get jiggy with it.

Par Harley. So, with the SNS 131 kit, um, we’re around 160 horsepower. I’m not sure on the torque, I just know this thing comes up every, uh, every gear that I shift. Other than that, with some race gas in this thing... this thing barks! You guys want to hear me start this thing?

This is Bag Nasty. Catch us November 16th and 17th at Willow Springs. 2025 is going to be a crazy year here with my teammate, Tony Selus. So stay on the lookout for us.
