I'm Hollywood Dave. I'm with Shark Law. Actually, I've been riding since I was about 15, which was back when the dinosaurs roamed the Earth, so it's been quite a while. You know, Lifestyle Cycles is a home; it's kind of a throwback to the motorcycle shops of yesteryear, where you came out, hung out with people, and knew all the people around you. It became a family. You know, there are so many incredible things about the community here. It’s a lot of good people from different walks of life. You find out all kinds of new things. We sit around, have a bunch of people come in, do cigars, hang out, talk about rides, or go on rides with the riding group. You might have law enforcement, firefighters, military, or teachers—people from all walks of life with one set focus. They all come here, and it's a great way to experience life. We are truly experiencing life together, and it's richer as you learn about more people, what they do, and what they enjoy.

I ride a 2016 Switchback, which I bought here. I came in one day and said, "You know what? I need a bike." Junior, the owner, who knows me well enough, said, "I bought your bike a couple of days ago. It’s going to be here in a couple of days. It’s perfect for you, so if you want it, it’s yours." I bought it right there on the spot without even seeing the bike, test-riding it, or doing anything. I bought it on his recommendation because I knew he knew what he was talking about and that it would be perfect for me. And it has been. It's a great bike, and I love riding it.

I get to work with all the motorcycle dealerships all over Southern California. This is a very, very special place. It’s very different from any other place because of the people. That’s why you come—because of who is here. It’s not only the staff; it’s not only Junior; it’s all that they attract. It’s a magnet for really, really good people. There are so many wonderful memories I’ve had here at Lifestyle Cycles. We’ve done a lot of events and fantastic things. But I think the number one is last year when we did a fantastic toy run. We had over 220 bikes that came here, and we rode to an elementary school. Prior to that, we had collected a bunch of toys and bicycles—over 600 bicycles and over 1,800 toys. Everything was prepared for kids in a very tough neighborhood in Anaheim. We rode out there; the kids were so excited. We walked them through, and everyone either got a bicycle, a scooter, or a couple of toys. That was so much fun and a great way to give back to the community.

That’s something Lifestyle Cycles is always doing—working with military groups, veteran groups, animal groups, and organizations that help military kids. It’s all about giving back. This community is truly about not only riding and having fun but also about giving back. We’ve always got great events coming up right here at Lifestyle Cycles. You know, before, and I’ve been around Lifestyle Cycles for a long, long time—probably close to 15 years—dealers were only interested in selling you a bike. "What can I sell you today? What do you want to ride in on, and what do you want to ride out with?" It was always that kind of focus. You never have that here. This is truly a family, and I’m sure it’s been said a number of times, but it really is a family. It’s a great place to come. It is what motorcycling is supposed to be. It’s not just about the ride; it’s not just about the bikes. It’s about the people, the community, and everything that’s happening right here at Lifestyle Cycles. It’s called Lifestyle for a reason because it truly is a lifestyle. When you come on out and see the people around here, you realize that it was aptly named.
