Lifestyle Cycles Installation Video: Red Line 3 Whole Fluid Change

Lifestyle Cycles Installation Video: Red Line 3 Whole Fluid Change

out all right so red line just came out with this three-hole kit that gives you just about everything you need to do an oil change on on your Harley let's unbox it and go through everything that comes in the kit for you first it's going to come with a funnel for putting the oil into the motor and the transmission it's going to come with a hat we all need a

hat got cool stickers for your

toolbox this Kit's going to come with five quarts of the redline 2050 synthetic oil and then it's going to come with one qu of your transmission fluid one quart of your primary fluid and it even comes with a complete fuel system cleaner these three whole Oil Changers are so simple to do anybody can do it hey anybody hi I'm anybody nice what time is it time to get

dirty so since anybody can do it I'm not going to ausa is going to do it for me and I'm going to smoke a

cigar hell yeah yeah first thing you need to do is drain our transmission you want to grab your deep socket and come on over and be very careful because the transmission drain plug is right next to your oil drain plug so make sure you know which is which before you go

into make sure it's fully drained then you want to grab your drain plug and you want to clean it off all that magnetized Gunk inside you want to get it all off and you want to get a nice clean drain plug put back in you also want to go ahead and grab a flathead or any kind of tool and just get this gasket off you don't want to use the old Rings see how they're coming apart you don't want that going back in your bike now I got my clean Lube on my finger we're going to lube that gasket up and then when you want to put it back on the bike you want to make sure to hand tighten it first before you go into your tool to make sure that it's threading straight

now we want to get some transmission fluid put back in this so you want to grab your 38

Allen get that super duper handy funnel that red line provided for you

get that pink transmission fluid in there nice and pretty like bubblegum same as any other drain plug we've put back in you want to hand tighten it

first make sure you get those threads in there before you start using your Allen

now I'm going to go ahead and drain the

primary same thing with this drain plug you're going to want to go ahead and clean it get all all of that debris that magnet Gunk get it all off and take your old gasket off so we can put a new one on okay guys when you have a good amount of that oil when it's all out as much as you can get out you're going to throw your new gasket on to your drain plug you're going to make sure it's all nice and lubed up and you're going to go ahead and start by hand tightening it first remember it is aluminum in there so you don't want to go too tight you don't want to miss the

threads Next Step we're going to take this derby cover off and get some primary fluid put in

there now when you have your derby cover off make sure not to just set it down on anything sometimes these are powder coated painted you don't want to mess it up or scratch it now you don't have to but I personally like using this funnel because the hole that you put your primary oil through is very very small and hard to

see so I go ahead and I put this funnel right

here grab my primary case oil

before you put that derby cover on though you want to make sure you throw on a new gasket before you tighten one screw on when you're putting your derby cover back on make sure you line them all up and then start tightening them all the way

down this is really critical guys the oil sits behind the primary in order to make sure that you get all of that old oil out you have to start the bike and let it get pushed back let it warm up and it'll push it all the way back into the oil pan so then we can drain the oil pan and change the oil filter so now let's get her started up and get that oil moved

back so let's take that drain plug

off while we let that drain we're going to go over to the oil filter and we're going to pop that back

off now in order to do that I need my little oil filter cup

and then you're going to want to throw this guy away we don't want to reuse this part I do want to let you guys know that with this kit you do have to buy your own derby cover gasket your own drain plug gaskets and your own oil filter so I'm going to use hard drive let's get it opened up first thing you want to make sure to do with your oil filter before you put it on your bike remove the plastic and you want to lube that O-ring gasket around there so once you get your oil filter on and you feel that it's tight you want to do another quarter turn after that but you don't want to go too tight now that our oil filter is on let's go back over to our drain plug got my drain plug clean got my new gasket on got it all lubed up now let's get our plug back up and like always guys what do we do we thread it with our hands first before going into it with a tool now our final step get oil back into her the set

so that's our three hole change we got our oil changed our filter our primary and our transmission now we're going to lower the bike get it started up make sure everything's going well and we're also going to add our fuel added it and this goes straight into your gas

tank now let's get our fuel system cleaner in here let's get our turned on to make sure there's no leaks and to check the oil pressure

[Music]

[Applause]
