Lifestyle Cycles What We Ride: Buffie

My name is Buffy Star, and I'm the events manager here at Lifestyle Cycles. I ride a 2021 Softail Slim. I've had this Harley-Davidson for about three years; this is my fifth Harley. My first one was an Iron, then I bought a SuperLow, followed by a Low Rider. I had a 2017 Softail, and now I have the 2021 Softail.

I added the Lexin Bluetooth speakers because I wanted to hear my music outside of my helmet. I have Vance & Hines Short Shots on it, a Memphis Shades fairing, and a Nealon Rig Route One top bag for some extra storage. That's about it!

The rides I enjoy are usually with the Lifestyles riding group. My husband and I also do some rides every weekend. I love all the rides and everything that we do.

People often ask me what my license plate means; it says "CAN'T CORNER." This reflects my cornering skills, especially when I make U-turns. If you're behind me, you know I can struggle with cornering.

My road name is "Hydrate." I earned that coming out of Salton at 116° F. I got dehydrated and was riding with my head bobbing. Next thing I knew, I was at a gas station, and they were pouring water on me and sticking me in the cooler until I regained consciousness. Thankfully, I was able to ride home safely.
